Ganoderma applanatum is a woody-backed polypore shelf mushroom also known as bear bread or artist’s conk. The latter name references one of its preferred uses in history and current culture — as a palette for carving or painting. Experienced painting instructor Jessicca Hoover will be leading this class. Class cost is $15 for all materials with bear bread palettes ranging from $10-45, based on size. $15 registration fee must be paid now to register for the class. You can choose your bear bread and pay for that separately at the class.
There is no experience necessary to participate and all levels are welcome.
